The Practical Civil Engineering Program empowers our Graduates to 

• To successfully engage in the practice of Civil Engineering across public and private sector organizations involved in construction, infrastructure development, and related domains.
• To pursue entrepreneurial or consulting careers in Civil Engineering, applying technical expertise and innovation to deliver impactful solutions.
• To demonstrate professional integrity, ethical responsibility, and leadership, while embracing lifelong learning and contributing meaningfully to societal development.

STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES (SLO's)

After completing the Practical Civil Engineering Program, our Graduates are expected to

• Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of best practices throughout the construction lifecycle, from project initiation to handover.
• Uphold and apply ethical principles, professional responsibilities, and industry norms within engineering practice.
• Exhibit proficiency in engineering and management concepts, effectively integrating them into construction project execution.
• Collaborate and lead effectively within multidisciplinary teams to manage complex construction projects.
• Recognize and embrace the importance of independent, lifelong learning to stay abreast of evolving technologies in the industry.
• Evaluate societal, health, safety, legal, and cultural considerations, and develop competencies to responsibly manage civil engineering practices.  

The Practical Civil Engineering Program (PCE Program) is divided into following Modules.

• Construction Management
• Construction Technology
• Soft Skills 
• Professional Development

The program spans a total duration of 12 months, within which students are expected to complete all assessments at their own pace.

The curriculum is meticulously designed in alignment with the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) Level 5 and above, as well as the National Occupational Standards (NOS) established by the Construction Skill Development Council of India (CSDCI).

Students have unlimited access to course videos within this 12 month period, allowing them to revisit and reinforce key concepts for better understanding.

Additional guidance and support are provided through online contact classes, ensuring personalized assistance throughout the learning journey.

Upon successful completion, students will receive a certificate from ABHAYAM, serving as a valuable credential to advance their professional careers within the construction industry.

Each student must complete a comprehensive assessment designed to evaluate their learning effectiveness. Students are allowed two attempts per assessment, with the higher score being considered.

Detailed information will be shared with students who have enrolled in the program.
