Q1: What is the CEST Program?
A: The Civil Engineering Software Training (CEST) Program is a comprehensive training initiative designed to equip civil engineering students and professionals with essential software skills across key civil engineering domains such as structural, transportation, water resources, geotechnical, project management, and BIM.


Q2: Who can enroll in the program?
A: The program is ideal for:

  • Civil Engineering undergraduates and postgraduates
  • Recent civil engineering graduates
  • Practicing civil engineers seeking to upskill

Q3: When does the CEST Program begin?
A: ABHAYAM plans to launch the full CEST Program by mid-2027.


Q4: What is the total duration of the program?

  • Core Modules (1–6): Approximately 18 weeks
  • Additional Software (electives): Each course spans 3 weeks
    All durations are flexible based on module depth and participant learning pace.

A: The program consists of:

  • 6 core modules covering essential civil engineering software
  • Optional add-on modules for specialized software tools
  • Assessments, projects, and certification components
     

Q6: What software tools are covered?
A: Key software includes:

  • AutoCAD, ETABS, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, Revit, Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, MS Project, Primavera, ArcGIS/QGIS, and more.
    Optional electives include PLAXIS, Midas Civil, ANSYS, Python, and Synchro.
     

Q7: Are there hands-on sessions included?
A: Yes, each module integrates practical assignments, lab sessions, and real-world case studies to ensure experiential learning.


Q8: Is the program flexible or customizable?
A: Yes. Participants can choose elective modules, and the pacing of each module can be adjusted based on participant understanding and module complexity.


Q9: What will I be able to do after completing the program?
A: Participants will be able to:

  • Design, analyze, and manage civil projects using software
