1. What is Practical Civil Engineering Program?
Practical Civil Engineering Program (PCE Program) It is a Skill Development Program that is focused primarily for the Final Year Civil Engineering Students in both Diploma and Engineering Streams.
2. What is taught in the PCE Program?
The program deals with the practical approach to a number of civil engineering concepts like construction management, construction technology, general civil engineering and software skills. It also combines the soft skills like time management, leadership, communication skills among others.
3. Is the program offered online or offline?
Currently the entire program is offered online. Efforts are on to have a offline batch in the near future.
4. What is the program structure in the online mode?
The program is divided into three pathways - Construction Management, Construction Technology and General Civil Engineering Pathway. Students can choose any one of the pathway of their choice or all three pathways.
5. How is the software parts being taught?
Currently we are not teaching software as a part of the program. We will be launching it soon only in the offline mode.
6. Will I be getting certificates after completion of program?
Yes. Efforts are on to apply for the accreditation of the program so that the certificates are backed by strong credibility.
7. Will there be placement after completion of program?
Yes. Efforts are on to have MOUs with construction companies in both public and private sectors to validate our program and offer placement services.
